Happy Monday! I know Mondays are usually a drag and not something we look forward to but, maybe this Monday we can start a habit or invest in something good for ourselves that makes it less dreary. Maybe we take ourselves to yoga, or make a delicious smoothie, or give a compliment to someone. And maybe, just maybe, we can turn the first day of the week into a snowball effect of productivity and positivity. Whatever you do this Monday I hope you seize the day and make it your best! 🙌🏽☺️ Photo by @willsaundersphoto
There are some evenings out here where everything the light touches is gold. It’s doesn’t mean that getting out onto the line isn’t just as terrifying. It’s still nerve wracking for me. Sitting there, breathing as deeply and slowly as I can manage. Reminding myself that what I’m about to do is actually safe. I slowly ease my way out, feeling better as the harness holds my weight as I hang underneath the highline, and as things don’t spontaneously explode like I sometimes can’t help but imagine in my head. Each breath comes a little easier and I can finally relax into the silks and find a pose. It’s taken me years to be able to handle exposure like this. A deep rooted fear of heights has often held me back from this sort of thing. So evenings like this are truly magical for me, each one a tiny victory. Thanks for getting some rad shots @firstdescent and for rigging up another beautiful line @sketchyandylewis
Sometime you have to go chase some storms to find your rainbow. Luckily this little lady will follow me anywhere. PC @mersendyclimberson
I’m so grateful that there are fabulous trees in our backyard to hang all manor of aerial toys from! Being able to work on strength and flexibility in my own back yard is such a gift! I hope that whatever your activity of choice is that it brings you joy and helps you experience the beauty of movement. And if you don’t have an activity that you love I hope you find one, there’s so many options out there! Yoga, silks, Lyra, fans, fire, climbing, slacklining, dance, whatever gets us moving. 💃🏼☺️
Just another day at the office. 😎 thanks @firstdescent
Side quests, the little adventures that fill up our days. When ideas meet action no matter how small. I love that in this community of diverse talented humans that one of us can have an idea (such as hanging a Lyra underneath a bridge for fun 🤷🏼♀️ ) and within minutes it’s actually happening! There’s something so empowering about knowing that you can turn your ideas into reality and your day dreams into art. Thank you @sylvanslacks @sketchyandylewis @mersendyclimberson @baylacain @burnerdaddy for rallying for quick little family mission. 🙏🏼💜
@mersendyclimberson smashing some cracks and sliding in some cams. 😎💃🏻
I’ve never been much of a trad climber I actually enjoy sport much more 🤷🏼♀️ but I’ve always been fascinated by it. The movement, the look of the rock, the skill and calmness it takes to artfully place gear in the right spot and trust it with your life. Getting to photograph it is such a joy, watching people who are so passionate about it and comfortable with the pain and exposure that come with it fascinates me. It’s a bit like the desert itself, stunning, inspiring, and a little bit dangerous. Thanks for letting me tag along yet again @mersendyclimberson and @sylvanslacks that was such a beautiful day!
May we always be strong enough to stand up for ourselves when others try to steal our freedom and our right to choose what’s best for our bodies. Photo by @mersendyclimberson
Don’t let anyone tell you that you’re not capable, even if that someone is you. Photo by @mersendyclimberson
It’s so nice to finally get some climbing in! Maybe one day this rain will let up and we can climb something that’s not in a cave. 🙏🏼🤷🏼♀️ photo by @deanfidelman
It’s amazing how much work even a "short" mission like this can take. Everyone involved contributes something, wether its documenting, rigging, climbing, or keeping the stoke up. as someone who is still learning all these skills (and someone who is often over her head and outside her comfort zone in these situations ) I truly appreciate the talent, hard work, and awesome disposition of the rad folks who make this silly shit happen. What a fun mission! 🙏🏼🙌🏽👌🏼 @sketchyandylewis @mersendyclimberson @sylvanslacks @callenhearne
Getting ready for some climbing finally! It’s been a while since I’ve gotten to crack climb, and I’ve never been terribly good at it. I’m working on Goals this spring though, and one of them is to become a more confident climber, to try different styles of climbing and push myself, just a bit harder. 🤓💃🏻 photo by the rad @mersendyclimberson
It’s starting to feel like spring out there! 💃🏻🤩. Pc @callenhearne
All this rain got us like ☔️🤷🏼♀️ Time to go chase some waterfalls 💃🏻 Photo by @paulinap
Finding ways to entertain ourselves while it’s raining is always interesting. I think I’m in love with this scaly beauty. 🐍😍 photo by @fidelmandean
Springing forward today! Hopefully that means I’ll want to spring outa bed to the sound of birds and sun beams shining in my window, like a modern day Snow White. 💃🏻🤓 (not very likely though ) Until that happens though here’s a desert Snow White. Miss you @kyrariver 💜 Bring on that sunshine!

At the current rate it’s estimated that we will have spent an average of two years of our life on Facebook alone. It was rather shocking to hear that. I know that we all spend a fair amount of time on social media of all kinds. But it’s worth asking, how much of our lives will we give up to it? I bring this up because I myself am guilty of spending as excess of time scrolling. And while I find it beneficial in some ways I wonder what I could do with all that time..... which brings me to goals! I want to use my time more efficiently, as well as set small goals, the kind that are so easy you feel like there’s no way you couldn’t complete them! Doing this kick starts our momentum! When we feel the success of even small accomplishments it’s motivates us to try even bigger goals. . *steps off soap box and tries to get up in time for CrossFit....* 💃🏻
It’s warming up out there! Time to get outside and rope up! PC @paulinap
Going through some photos from our trip to Hawaii. Remembering what it was like to romp around in the epic canyons there. I was surprised by how much you could do here, massive canyons and cliffs to repel and hike, with unpredictable weather that literally dumped on you at any moment. But it’s beauty was unparalleled, and absolutely worth crawling through the mud and rain. @sketchyandylewis decided he’d rather jump down. 💃🏻
Missing the warm beach days in Kauai while it’s dumping here in Utah. Using this forced down time to start planing for this upcoming season. Nerding our to podcasts and writing down goals. 🤓 Spring here we come! 💃🏻
So glad there was a break in the weather long enough to go get outside and fly! To many days cooped up inside make me go a little crazy🤪 I’m just hopping this sunshine will last this time. 🙏🏼☀️
@sylvanslacks Getting into some crack.
@mersendyclimberson and @sylvanslacks convinced me to try leading trad. It’s funny that when I started learning to climb it was trad, but I slowly got way more into sport, I found it a bit less painful and more my style. There is something oddly beautiful about shoving your appendages into crack and cranking down on them to the point of discomfort while you slowly inch your way up the rock face. Like I said, not usually my “jam” but with awesome support and encouragement from Sylven and Cadi like I had yesterday, who knows maybe I’ll get into it more this season. 💃🏻Thanks guys for getting me up there. 🙏🏼💜 PC @mersendyclimberson
Flying off in a different machine today 💃🏻✈️ leaving this place is way harder than I thought it would be. The adventures we’ve had here, the incredible community that we connected with, the general vibe of it all is addictive! We are already planning our trip back!
Starting to pack our bags and get ready to leave this incredible island. 😢 Not ready at all.
