oh kaycee rice. ms. kaycee caitlin rice. ur 17 now. look at you getting all old and stuff. i know i’m always saying that i’m at a loss of words when it comes to this kind of stuff with you but this time, i think i know what to say because i’ve learned that the most special people in your life are revealed by the right meanings instead of the right words. being your friend is like meeting you for the first time, everytime we see each other. except we end up wearing the same freaking clothes every time.. i can’t tell you how many times you have stressed me out or how many times you have seen me at my worse. but honestly, having you there at those moments make it a memory that i won’t ever want to forget about. i hate to say it but you know me more than i know myself sometimes but what can i do about it lol. they say that a good friend knows all your best stories and a best friend has lived them with you, but you’ve created these “best stories.” just know that whenever you’re down, i got you. whenever you feel crazy, i got you. whenever you can’t stand me anymore, i got you another year to your life has been added. which is also means another year to our partnership: ) which means more disney days, more two-people parties, more stress, more movie marathons, more ways to change the world, and a bajillion more jokes. happy birthday weirdo @kayceericeofficial

2/2 False Confidence - @noahkahanmusic l Choreography by Sean Lew l #BABE2019 l Sean & Kaycee i just really want to thank the weirdo that’s dancing with me right now. to me, these kind of classes is purely just to create an experience. a memory. a moment that we remember because of the feeling that we’ve given ourselves. thank you everyone for all the loving reactions. and thank you kaycee for always putting a period to the sentences of all our stories: ) @kayceericeofficial full video on YT channel.
½ “False Confidence” - @noahkahanmusic l Choreography by Sean Lew l #BABE2019 l Sean & Kaycee this class meant so much to me and i'm so grateful to be able to share something very special to such a great event. my greatest intention with this piece was creating an experience for two people that were pushed to act vulnerable and silly with each other. to find a way to create a story based off of their own relationship, either if they were close friends or strangers to each other. i started creating this piece in 2018 and kept changing it ever since because it was mainly inspired by wanting to make people smile when they start dancing with each other. "false confidence" means to put on a mask that you've given yourself so that people can't tell that you're hurting inside. i wanted people to feel a certain way while watching this piece and understand that whenever you are trying to lift others up, always make sure that you take care of yourself as well and you never sacrifice your own emotions for the sake of other people. the right people will always come back to you and make you feel loved. hope you guys enjoy. @kayceericeofficial buildabeast 2019: @willdabeast__ @janelleginestra
reminder: don’t be pouty like this guy and take a moment to realize that we all still get to live in a world surrounded with the people that we love

2/2 “straight back down” | freestyle - i believe that dance has such a powerful way of giving life meaning. it allows us to feel understood and empowered. at this moment, it was much less about what i was doing and more about how i was feeling. just had to close my eyes and picture the last fragment of what my story was. thank you dean lewis for your beautiful music. thank you dance for helping us artists make a difference in society: )
½ “straight back down” | Sean Lew Choreography - this piece has a special place in my heart because it represents one of my biggest obstacles in life, “doubt.” i created this piece because i immediately felt a personal connection to the storyline and the artist. it made me want to hold back, made me want to go crazy, made me want to stumble, made me want to let go. it made me realize that having doubts about someone or something was just a part of the process. the real test is embracing your doubts to remind yourself that you’re just human. you have to make your purpose bigger than your fears. thank you chicago for being so open to sharing your stories and letting me into them. it was such an incredible honor and pleasure watching you guys: ) - choreographed/performed: @seanlew music by: @deanlewismusic filmed by: @newpixelfilms studio: @xtremedanceforce
happy birthday to one of the most important people in my life. you’ve always been there for me, you’ve always tried your hardest to help me in any way you can, and you always carry every action out of love. and for those reasons, including a trillion more, i couldn’t be more thankful to have a sister and friend like you. you may stress me out sometimes, but you always make up for it by the amount of times you’ve made me smile. i hope you never forget how much i love you and always remember that i will be there for you, either if i’m across the world or right next to you. love you @sarahlewlew

“The Wire” - @francisnovotny | Sean Lew Choreography - thank you HDE and DanceOn for having me teach at your experience. this piece is about the mental barriers we give ourselves that lead to discomfort and tension that isn’t necessary. the concept of “the wire” is keeping ourselves on our toes but for the wrong reasons. to all the dancers that were a part of it, thank you for being so incredibly open to the idea of vulnerability and internal emotions i had you portray throughout the class. it was honestly so fulfilling to witness every one of your stories. thank you francis for ur special mind and for this extraordinary song. was a great pleasure moving to ur voice - choreography: @seanlew event: @hollywooddanceexperience music: @francisnovotny filmed: @ryanparma @danceon
this is my “i’m not wearing any black” face.
it looks like i’m so mad at this chicken..
2/2 “Manufactured Love” - @mblumemusic | Sean & Kaycee Choreography (full video on our channel ) - the concept of duet classes are always so inspiring to me because it forces us to push into an uncomfortbale feeling and trust someone that results in patience and balance. class is about each other. class is a community. no one ever has all of the answers to everything so we look at each other for support and belief. every person holds something that no one in this entire world has. so to have classes like these means a lot to me because not only do i get the chance to dance with someone so special to me, but once we learn to open our eyes and realize that we’re here for the same reason, we build a trusting family and community - Choreography: @seanlew @kayceericeofficial Danced by: @kayceericeofficial @seanlew Filmed by: @xtremedanceforce Music: @mblumemusic #SeanAndKaycee
“antisocial” ▫️choreography: @kylehanagami ▫️danced by: @seanlew ▫️filmed by: @ryanparma ▫️music by: @teddysphotos @travisscott happy late birthday kyle! i’m so grateful to have you in my life and always so honored that i get to learn from you. you always push and motivate me to become a better dancer and better human being. thank you for being the genuine and super caring person that i’ve known for years and i hope to make more memories with you in the future: ) love ya kyle☺️
1/2 “Manufactured Love” - @mblumemusic | Sean & Kaycee Choreography (full video on our channel ) - this song holds a special place in my heart because it was my other option of a song for our first narrated video, “Wrong Words” at the time. the intention behind this piece was knowing that there are always two sides to a story and what you see it not always the truth. we wanted to allow the song and simplicity of the movements drive the story so it was clear for people to understand the contrast of body language and emotions throughout the dance. in our society, sometimes we identify the concept of love with the idea of providing but we aren’t aware that it’s far more complex than that. it’s about understanding the source of each other’s happiness and having a genuine and infinite appreciation for each other. the blurred line between ‘manufactured love’ and ‘real love’ is what distracts us from realizing that. we hope you guys enjoyed our first little collaboration on this story and we couldn’t be more thankful for this beautiful class in Chicago. much love☺️ - Choreography: @seanlew @kayceericeofficial Danced by: @kayceericeofficial @seanlew Filmed by: @xtremedanceforce Music: @mblumemusic #SeanAndKaycee

let go | @dylanbrady - thank you chicago for having me with such open arms and hearts. i wanted to do something a little different, music-wise. it was such an amazing class because every single person in that class was so motivated to learn and supportive to others and that’s all i could have ever asked for. that’s what dance is genuinely about - choreography/performed: @seanlew song: @dylanbrady filmed: @xtremedanceforce full video on my channel
