Home after a long long time away, recovering and working.
I’ve been a little wary of putting my works on Instagram for a while now. It’s kind of heartbreaking to see exact copies for a fraction of the price out the same week on Etsy in any color you want on T-shirts and jackets before mine even makes it into a gallery. I write to people sometimes and either they’re super apologetic and then I feel bad for the small business trying to survive who didn’t know the original artist behind the work or they’re super mean and tell me to go fuck myself. But I think I’m learning to find my balance in all this, I do want to share my works and progress but I don’t want my work to be driven by likes and Instagram following. Success seems to be what is quantifiable by numbers but the focus should be on the work itself.
Spending my birthday at a construction site watching these two work. I don’t have much embroideries I’m ready to share quite yet so here are some sketches. #sketch #ipadsketch
This was supposed to be part of a set but it didn’t fit. But at least it’s done now.
These new stretchers have been a game changer. And more importantly a gift from my girl crush @jessicasorentang 🥰
Happy International Women’s Day.
Starts with a sketch.
First completed piece of 2019, its been hard to find time to sit down and work lately. Much less social media. 🙄
It’s been a hectic month with wedding number two. Drained empty but happy. I’m looking forward to some productive time to work on personal projects. Thank you for your commissions, please be patient. 🌙
Hair in progress.
Back home in Malaysia and trying to be productive.

This is the same old piece from 2016 I finally got around to proper photographing for memory. They are each unique and from different times in my life I find parting with my pieces strangely melancholic.
Dealing with visas and bureaucracy gives me next level anxiety. ☹️
I’ve been rephotographing old work. 🙌🏻
In the most amazing space in Spain and absorbing all this powerful energy. ✨✨✨
I’ve wanted to revisit the girl braiding her hair to try out a different technique for a while now.
Customised my own denim for a project I worked on.
From an interview I did last week in my messy messy home studio.
An old sketch I pulled up.
