Get yourself strong. Our first tip is to take extra vitamin D 1000 IU. Especially if you’re living in the northern hemisphere and have little sunshine to replenish yourself. A study found that vitamine D gives protection against Covid-19. With 780 patients that were hospitalized because of Covid-19 they checked for a (cor )relation between their risk of dying and their vitamin D-level. Of the deceased 98.9% had a vitamine D-deficit. [EXPOSING A TRUTH ABOUT MYSELF DAY 12] I have been getting headaches, brain fog, and fatigue everyday recently. I eat well. I take my vitamins. I avoid caffeine. Yet everyday I feel physically exhausted. I am figuring it out with the doc, but this experience really reminded me of something. This experience reminds me of some of my clients that have anxiety disorders. Sometimes anxiety is just present. The shortness of breath, the tight chest, the tunnel vision. If you think anxiety is a problem, it just gets worse. If you think anxiety shouldn’t be there, it just gets worse. If you think something is wrong with you for having anxiety, it just gets worse. Just like my clients who have anxiety disorders, I can’t push this fatigue away. I can’t opt out of the headaches, fatigue, and brain fog. But I can decide how I think about them. I can decide how I treat myself when these symptoms come up. I choose to have compassion, love, and empowerment. I choose think that the brain fog, headaches, and fatigue aren’t a problem. I choose to think they aren’t my fault. I choose to be understanding with myself and take care of myself. I choose to give myself breaks and drink lots of water. Sembra Paradossale, ma la strategia migliore per cambiare è prendere coscienza, ma soprattutto accettare quello che si è (o si ha ) e solo da lì avere finalmente la libertà di Cambiare. 🌬🌈 Quanti paroloni in un'unica frase, scusateci. 😀🤦♀️🤦♂️ Proviamo a semplificarlo. Ognuno di noi, e quando diciamo ognuno di noi ci riferiamo anche a noi stessi, frequentemente nella vita siamo "costretti" oppure vorremo cambiare: noi stessi, lavoro, vita privata, contesto sociale. 🙋♂️🙋♀️✔ Concentrarsi eccessivamente nel "dovrei fare o essere così" non porta a granchè, tanto meno al cambiamento. Si innesca solamente una estenuante lotta interiore, con annesse sofferenze e ferite, di come dovremmo essere (secondo noi o secondo gli altri ) e cosa, invece con frustrazione, non riusciamo ad essere. 😣😥 Dove trovare l'interruttore di questo circolo vizioso e poco virtuoso, per sospenderlo? Nel posto, più inaspettato: dentro di NOI, ACCETTANDO come siamo veramente, nel bene e nel male, quello che vuol dire ESSERE NOI, senza cercare di combatterlo non ripetendoci o facendoci dire continuamente che siamo sbagliati. 😣❌Secondo poi quale criterio di giudizio? Quale scala di riferimento? Solo in questo modo, accentandoci con Amore e compassione, (perdoniamoci un pò di più su ❤ ), saremo liberi di cambiare, di intraprendere strade nuove. Attenzione!!! Accettare NOI STESSI, non vuol dire GIUSTIFICARCI, ma prendere coscienza, sospendendo il giudizio (nessun valore di giusto o sbagliato ), prendendo atto di quello che siamo. Punto. “Il curioso paradosso è che quando mi accetto per come sono, allora posso cambiare”. Diceva Carl Rogers! L'accettazione è la base del cambiamento. Se ciò non avviene, allora è impossibile cambiare perché la mente si trova persa. Osservare chi siamo e conoscere noi stessi è la chiave per migliorare e passare alla versione 2.0 di noi stessi. Non una migliore, ma una più funzionale ☺ Perchè abbiamo voluto parlarvi di questo oggi? Today I get to say I’ve been alcohol-free for one full year so I thought I’d tell you what has changed and what I’ve learned... • My anxiety and depression are virtually non-existent. • My skin has cleared, I have less heartburn, my hair is much healthier, and I have far less aches and pains in general. • I get to enjoy my mornings now, never worrying about being hungover. • I’ve been forced to get comfortable with who I am and not hide my insecurities behind social lubricant. Funny enough, I actually discovered that I like who I am even MORE without it! • I’ve learned I can still be funny without alcohol and quite honestly, I’m actually funnier. • I remember everything. My mind is a steel trap and sharp as a tack. I’m on point all. the. time. • I sleep like a damn rock and actually remember my dreams. • I am in control of my emotions. I feel what I feel because it’s real, not because it’s being heightened from substance use. • I’m a cheap date/have saved a ton of money. • I’ve figured out who my real friends are because they want to spend time with me outside of activities that involve alcohol. • My intuition is coming in at a hiiiiiigh frequency. It’s so much easier to pay attention to what the universe is telling me. • I’m able to show up more for the people I love. • You do not have to be addicted to alcohol to have a problem with it and want to stop. • I’ve learned to process discomfort rather than avoid it. It’s not easy at first but it does get easier and it’s SO worth it. • What started out as being sober curious ended up being one of the best decisions of my life and I could not be more proud of making the decision to do this for myself. • Cheers! How do you manage your time? 👆🏻This is a question I get a lot since I have a very FULL life. My husband runs his own business, we’ve got two older kiddos active in sports and a toddler who runs the house. 😜 I’m also managing a full client load, hosting a podcast, and running monthly workshops, events, challenges, etc. You have to find something that works for you, but I believe that you should be intentionally carving out time for these core activities: . ⏰ FAMILY: yes, block the SHIT out of this and protect it. . ⏰ CREATIVE TIME: bigger chunks to allow yourself to get “in the flow” for content, offer, program creation. . ⏰ DISCOVERY /SALES CALLS: if you’re selling higher ticket programs/services, always work to fill up these types of sales calls each week. . ⏰ NETWORKING: having conversations and building new relationships should be done every week. If you’re not growing your network, you won’t be able to grow your business. . ⏰ ADMIN TIME: time to catch up on the to-do’s you normally push out, and/or time to meet with your team to delegate. Within that, make sure you are taking breaks to breath, drink water, and move your body. If you feel like time management is a challenge, is this helpful? If you could use only one word to describe your life right now, what would it be? For me it would be motivated! I would use this because any passion in life is to motivate you to grow and get out of your comfort zone!
When you think you know it all, that’s when life teaches you more. The reality is we never will be able to know everything, you gotta keep learning till the very end. . . .
